Mountainview’s commitment to developing a healing and caring community includes offering Christian counselling services to both church members and the wider community. A professional Christian counsellor is available on an appointment basis for adults, young people, and children. Many situations and experiences in our lives cause stress in our relationships and in our emotional health. Professional counselling can assist those persons dealing with various issues such as: serious illness, loss, bereavement, parenting, marital and family difficulties, adolescent and young adult struggles, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and relationship problems, and the long-term effects of painful childhood experiences. Discussion groups are offered on various topics according to need. In addition, the small groups within the church may make use of this ministry for training and education.
