West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation
The West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation works with the community to help raise funds for equipment, upgrading of facilities, and special projects for the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
is a new initiative located in Smithville that seeks to demonstrate Christ’s love and grace by sharing the abundance of produce that we enjoy with those around the world who are in need. Now in full operation, with 4000-7000lbs of fresh produce delivered each weekday. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, these vegetables are being washed, chopped, dried and packaged under the direction of a nutritionist. As a result, these efforts will produce 6.2 million servings of dried fruit and vegetable mixes that will provide 17,000 meals a day for people around the world in 26 countries! We’ve been part of this excitement, supporting prayerfully, financially, and in other volunteer ways. The Ministry to Seafarers (M2S) of the Christian Reformed Church is an organization dedicated to reflecting Jesus' love by caring for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of seafarers visiting the Port of Montreal. M2S exists to be an advocate for all seafarers, and to provide a safe, relaxing place they can call their home-away-from-home..

Each one of us here today, and each person in our congregations back home, is a missionary. We all have a calling; we all have a voice. This agency is equipping the Christian Reformed Church for that calling—for living and sharing the good news, so that it goes out in every direction like an expanding, amplifying sound.
