Making a big church feel like a small, close-knit community starts here.
We have crafted the following environments to help you meet people who share your same season in life and live in the same community or area. Young and old, Christian and non-Christian, single, married or divorced, we have a place for you to connect and grow.
If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus, you need to have intentional relationships with people who have the same goal—and Connect Small Groups are the ideal place for that. In these closed Groups, eight to twelve adults meet regularly for 1 to 2 years to pursue spiritual growth, build healthy relationships and spend some time in service to others. You’ll be encouraged to live out the truths you discover in the Bible, as you encourage others to do the same. We offer Connect Groups for adults in ALL ages and stages of life: married, not married, single, without children, with children, and empty nesters. Connect Groups start every September with an 8 week get connected curriculum. After meeting for those 8 weeks, each group has the option of choosing their material for the next year or two, or disbanding at that time.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a question about Connect Groups.
If you want to learn what Scripture says about money, discussion on marriage or other topics that may be introduced from time to time, try a Short-Term Group. They're like the Connect Small Groups, but meet weekly for a short term to explore one topic.
Starter Groups…If you are new to Mountainview or just want to check us out, we have groups that start at various times through-out the year, meet 2-3 times per month and are led by members of Mountainview. These groups decide how long they wish to meet together and it is our prayer that individuals will join a Connect Group at the following September Re-group kick off.
Short-Term Groups are filled on a first-come, first-served basis with meeting times and locations mutually agreed upon.
Please contact us at email@example.com if you have a question about short -term groups.
If you are interested in playing sports, discovering photography or perhaps gardening, quilting, and many more, then an interest group is for you. These groups provide an opportunity for individuals with a particular interest to meet together to enjoy the activity and develop new friendships at the same time. Group membership may fluctuate and most of these groups are open to new members on an ongoing basis.
There is opportunity to join many of these groups throughout the year. As well, every September these groups are made available for sign up at the yearly re-group kickoff.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a question about interest groups.
We look forward to having you participate in one of our groups, because…
Life is Better Connected!
