COFFEE SOCIAL & NEIGHBOURHOOD POTLUCKS: Due to the use of the gym and kitchen for Neighbourhood Potlucks there will not be coffee in the fellowship hall after the morning services February 25th & March 4th. For those not part of the Potluck that day, who wish to socialize on site, a coffee station will be set up in the lobby.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER: The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement led by Christian women who welcome you to join in prayer and action for peace and justice. On Friday, March 2nd, Christians around the world will gather to learn about, pray for and celebrate the Republic of Suriname located on the northeastern coast of South America (a Dutch colony until its independence in 1975). Each year the Christian Churches in the Grimsby Community prepare and participate in a World Day of Prayer service. This year, the local World Day of Prayer Ecumenical Service will be held on Friday, March 2nd at 2 pm at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Grimsby.
THEME: All God’s Creation is Very Good! SPEAKER: Father Ronald Angervil. Refreshments will be served following the service. Please invite your friends and family to join us in praying with our brothers and sisters around the world.

Teams and will include a combination of choral music, praise & worship music with some audience participation. Special guest speaker, Peterson Waihura Wang’ombe, serving with Resonate Global Missions in Kenya, East Africa, will speak about his work with the Nairobi Transformational Network.
An offering will be received for Church Support Ministries – Race Relations. Church Support Ministries is mandated by synod "to design, organize, and implement programs that will assist the denomination, churches, and members in eliminating the causes and effects of racism within the body of believers and throughout the world.” Because there is a need for leaders and their congregations to have more effective ministry in the diverse communities they serve, there is also a need to have assistance in becoming culturally intelligent. The Office of Race Relations offers the resources and tools to develop this capacity.

Equipping and Encouragement Day - Saturday, March 3rd with Marion Lensink of CRCNA: The Implementation Team, along with our Discipleship Team, invites you to attend a day with Marian Lensink from CRCNA at Bethany CRC in Fenwick. We will learn:

- what it looks like to engage with scripture
- how to pray with and for others
- how to become more mission oriented
