LOCAL & DENOMINATIONAL NEWS

We could use your help. Our Summer Arts Camps are off to a wonderful start. However,  due to larger than normal camp sizes, we could really use two more volunteers per week. You don't have to be artistic, just helpful and someone who cares about kids. If you or anyone you know could help on any of the following weeks, please let me know ASAP: July 16-19; July 23-26; July 30-August 2; August 20-23. Camp runs from 12-4 Monday -Thursday. Volunteers and staff arrive at the HUB at 10 AM (11AM is fine too) to get instructions and prep for the day. Please help us make these camp experiences amazing. Volunteers should be ages 16 and up. If you can only make one or two days per week, that is still helpful; 4 days would be most effective. Contact Allen at 289-687-0169, allen@thebridgenf.ca. Come join the fun!

SHALOM MANOR:

1. Shalom Outbreak – Visitor restrictions are in effect in the Sunrise Court (Manor-second floor) home area due to gastrointestinal outbreak. All visiting an isolated resident must wear the gown, mask and gloves provided. If you are unwell, we ask that you not visit. If you visit a resident on Sunrise Court, we request you make no other visits before leaving. Don’t forget to hand sanitize/wash when entering & exiting the building during your visit – handwashing is one of our best defenses against spreading illness. Thank you for working with us to get and keep our residents safe and healthy!

2. Shalom Manor & Gardens Volunteer Opportunity:  Are you interested in volunteering? Shalom Manor & Gardens is looking for a reliable volunteer to help in our General Store and Café every other Wednesday afternoon, as well as people to cover holidays. Interested in this volunteer job or something else? Contact Jessica, Coordinator of Volunteers at (905) 945-9631 ext. 1115 or at volunteercoord@shalommanor.ca.
