September 5th A.M. – Rose City Kids:  For 10+ years Rose City Kids has been actively reaching children in Welland’s low-income communities. We launched our first program in 2008 with just a small group of volunteers and children. Since then, Rose City Kids has been blessed with growth and success with over 500 children and 120 volunteers actively involved in our programs. Through our diverse programs, we see hope restored lives changed, relationships built, physical needs met, and overall we see the love of Jesus in action in our community. What we offer: Saturday afternoon children’s programs, home visits (we visit every child in their home twice a month), junior leadership training, youth programs, after school tutoring,  youth drop-in center, summer connect nights and summer camp opportunities. IMPACT ENCOURAGE INFLUENCE INSTILL. Please check out www.rosecitykids.com for more info.

September 12th A.M. – Benevolence: Your contribution to Mountainview’s Benevolent Fund provides assistance for those in need in our church family and in our local community. These include basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and schooling. A church and community of our size has many varied needs within it. Please continue to support our ministry of Benevolence.

September 19th A.M. – Resonate Global Mission: Christian Reformed World Missions and Christian Reformed Home Missions came together in 2017 as Resonate to walk alongside CRCs as they join God’s mission in their own neighborhoods and around the world.

We do this by planting churches and supporting ministry in North America as well as sending missionaries around the globe to share the good news. But sending people is only part of God’s plan for your congregation. Your church partners with Resonate as you join God’s mission in your own neighborhood and around the world. Resonate is here to walk alongside you in preparing missionaries and volunteers, calling and supporting church planters and campus ministers, connecting with ministries overseas, engaging church members and younger generations in mission work, and following the Spirit by discerning new ways to demonstrate and proclaim the gospel. Together, we help build God’s church.

September 26th A.M. – Karis Disability Services (formerly Christian Horizons): Our new name builds on the principles that have always guided us. Karis conveys God’s grace and the gift of God’s radically accessible goodness in Christ. Our values (Valuing people, Fostering belonging, Serving others, Celebrating gifts) come from our belief that every person is loved by God and created in His image. When you are included, when you belong, and when you get to share your gifts and make a difference in your own life and others’ lives, you can thrive with purpose. We operate in Ontario and Saskatchewan, serving over 70 communities. Our programs include shared and independent living services, accessible family camps, advocacy, training, and respite. Globally we partner in Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Kenya, Nicaragua, and Uganda. People with disabilities, across the globe, are disproportionately impacted by poverty and lack of access to education. They need your support to thrive.
