Offering Details for November 2026
November 1st – World Renew – World Hunger: Around the world, millions of people face the harsh reality of daily hunger. Hunger is more than an empty plate. It affects health, education, livelihoods, and the future of entire communities. It robs families of strength, dignity, and hope for the future. At World Renew, we help global families access the tools and training they need to grow enough food and bring an end to hunger. With your support, World Renew is one of the global hunger charities helping families grow their own food and build lasting security, so they can thrive today and for years to come. Join us in helping to ensure there is enough for every table—enough food, hope, and God’s goodness shared with everyone. What if Every Table Had Enough? Together, let’s help create a future where every family has enough food and hope for tomorrow. www.worldrenew.org/campaigns/world-hunger
November 8th– Mwikali Wambua – Resonate Global Mission: Mwikali is a Christian Education Consultant with Resonate in Kenya and East Africa. Her ministry’s prime areas of focus are: Educational care and direction for schools and teachers, weekly Bible lessons in government schools, walking alongside vulnerable students in school and community, influence by lifestyle and fellowship, and inviting others into mission. Mwikali has been a teacher most of her life. God has shaped her heart for the whole child. Caring first and seeing each child as God’s own opens up a channel for faith formation in learning. Students are able to see that Jesus matters in every subject and He becomes real in their hearts and in the life of the school. God has also given Mwikali a drive to pour back into teachers. Her vision for Christian education in Eastern Africa is to see schools, churches and parents working together to create learning environments where children follow Jesus wholeheartedly and come to curiously delight in God’s world. Her desire is to see Christian schools mirror God's kingdom of love, to see them turn into havens of shalom and vitality. You can read more about her work and it’s impact in Kenya and East Africa here. Thank you for joining God’s work through Mwikali with your prayers and support.
November 15th – Benevolence: Your contribution to Mountainview’s Benevolent Fund provides assistance for those in need in our church family and in our local community. These include basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and schooling. A church and community of our size has many varied needs within it. Please continue to support our ministry of Benevolence.
November 22nd – Act 5: Our Gap Year Program is an 8-month journey of community living, adventure, learning, and service, where deep friendships and faith grow as young adults explore their calling and future. We also have a residency program which invites young adults to live in community while studying or working. Act 5 equips young people to live faithfully wherever they are. We exist to facilitate Christian discipleship by forming young adults into engaged followers of Jesus. We prepare them for life’s next steps—further education, the workplace, church communities or elsewhere. Find out more about our ministry on our webpage: actfive.ca/the-front/porch/#engagement. Your support assists us in our mission and conveys your interest and care for the faith and life of young adults in our communities.
November 29th – Cairn Christian School: Our Cairn Christian School sites in Smithville and Stoney Creek work to inspire Grade K-8 students to love, learn, and lead together in God's world. This offering provides vital support in achieving this mission, enabling students and families the opportunity to access an amazing Christian Education, and communicates our love for their students.
