MOUNTAINVIEW NEWS
Join us Sunday morning at 10 am or any time throughout the week. Pastor Erick Schuringa will present a message entitled “Simple, but not Easy”. He’ll be taking at look at the book of Titus, chapter 3, verses 1-8.
We will enter this passage by hearing wisdom from the community - what a few of us hear when this passage is read. From there we will lean into this basic gospel presentation by recognizing that living out this truth in practical ways is very challenging. We will sit in the wisdom and the challenge.
LET’S BUILD SOME COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS!
THANK YOU! to all of the volunteers who helped with the gardening and landscaping last week up to Saturday. The garden’s look beautiful! The need for help fluctuates greatly over the course of the season. So, if you are interested in helping on occasion, please let Paul Koornneef know.
JOYFUL GIVING
UPCOMING OFFERING: June 25th A.M. – Budget … End Of Year: An end-of-year offering for our Ministry Promise. Your contributions empower us GROW in relationship with God and each other, and GO, sharing Christ’s love in words and actions to our community, through programs such as Coffee Break, GEMS, Cadets, Small Groups, Kids Camp, Friendship and more... It also allows us to keep our facilities in good operating condition, and prepare a plan for some major capital expenditures for a now 20+ year old building. Your gift this evening will enable us to meet our financial commitments.
Bridge App Givings: We are deeply grateful that many members are using The Bridge App to donate to our church’s budget and ministry causes. Please be aware that there is a three percent fee for all donations given by credit card, while there is no fee if you give directly from your bank account. If you haven’t already done so, you can add your bank account by clicking on ‘Give’ and then ‘Payment Methods,’ choose ‘Add Payment Method’ and then ‘Add a Bank Account’. You will need to change the payment method on any existing recurring donations. Together, we can save our church hundreds of dollars in fees, and direct those funds toward our budget and ministries. Thank you.
