Psalms cover all kinds of topics. Psalm 27 is about being confident in your trust in God. But Psalms are also very honest and emotional and so in the midst of confidence there are questions and hopes and doubts to be expressed.

Thrive Faith Formation Tip - In the church year we are in “Ordinary Time,” a season named not because it is less significant than other church seasons but because it’s a time to focus on faithfulness in our ordinary, day-to-day lives. This week, ponder how you can “take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering” (Romans 12:1-2, MSG). Choose one daily activity that you can write a simple prayer about, and say that prayer each day. Small practices like this can make us mindful of God's presence in the ordinary.
