We are constantly hurrying, long lists of to-do's are magnetized to our fridges. But what does Jesus model for us in our hurry-sick society today? How does the Biblical command of Sabbath reshape how we should engage in our hurry-filled world?

SOCO Beach Project Update - Believe it or not, we are wrapping up SOCO summer cohort 2026 this weekend. In this week's newsletter, read about our last guest speaker, Chong, in "Diversity, Distortion and Redemption". As we wind up our time together, the group had fun with several outdoor activities. And we celebrate God's generosity through people like you as we reached our fundraising goal...and THEN some! (We'll give a final update on the total received next week.) The Grimsby Life Centre will be running two adult group classes starting this fall, a Boundaries Education Support Group as well as a Parenting Skills. These will be starting in the month of September at the Grimsby Life Centre. Both workshops are free and will be running over the course of 4 weeks. Check out the posters on the bulletin board. Wisdom in the Age of AI Conference - How should Christians respond to Artificial Intelligence (AI) in church, education, business, healthcare, and the arts? Creation Care Conference - Join Redeemer University on October 2-3, 2026 for a two-day academic conference exploring and learning how creation is a precious gift to be received and celebrated.
