MOUNTAINVIEW NEWS

We are delighted that Ministries HAVE RE-STARTED, and indoor meeting spaces are OPEN!! Our worship space capacity remains the same at 30% with adequate physical distancing and mask wearing requirements. Stay tuned as restrictions continue to lift heading into March. The decision to watch online or attend in person is up to you. Registration to attend in person is required. You can do so on our website.

This Sunday Pastor Peter helps us prepare our hearts for our Lenten Journey with the message, "Creating Space", which reflects on Matthew 11: 25-30.

During the lenten season we will be looking at various spiritual disciplines. These disciplines are not meant to be tasks that by themselves make us more righteous or holy, but rather these practices are meant to create space that God can, and will, fill. If we desire to know and hear God, then creating space is an important step, and the 'rest' is up to God.

JOYFUL GIVING

March 6th A.M. – Bible League Canada provides Scriptures and training worldwide, so people will be brought into relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church… because the world needs the Living Word of God more than anything else!  Change, real change, happens from the inside out.  When people come into a relationship with Jesus, they are transformed by the power of God’s Spirit.  The Holy Spirit inspires new Christians to adopt and apply Biblical values to address their needs.  Family, friends, whole communities experience this transformation!  Adult Bible-based literacy, Church planter training, Children’s Ministry Programs and support for persecuted Christians are the programs we use to deliver the Living Word of God in 43 countries.  By God’s grace, the eternal Living Word impacts generations to come.  THANK YOU for your support.

Tax Receipts for 2021 have been placed in your mail slot at church (for those who requested that option) or have been mailed (Canada Post). If you haven't received one or it is inaccurate, please let me know as soon as possible. I thank you all for your continued support of our Ministries here at Mountainview.
