Nicaragua Update Since mid-April, nationwide violence and demonstrations in Nicaragua have caused many Resonate Global Mission and World Renew missionaries to temporarily leave the country. They ask you to please join them in praying for the home and people they love: for those struggling to provide basic needs like food and water and facing danger from increasing violence and lawlessness; for peace, resolution, and lasting change; for missionaries as they process unplanned travel and an unknown future for their ministry; and for the church of Nicaragua. Pray that they will shine the light of Jesus Christ during these dark times.

Reclaiming Protection: Citizens for Public Justice (CPJ) has released a report titled “Reclaiming Protection”, which calls on the Canadian Government to end the Canada-U.S. Safe Third Country Agreement (STCA). The report details how the STCA has restricted access to refugee protection and how your community can call for it to be rescinded. It is our hope that it will lead to greater justice for refugee claimants arriving from the U.S. We encourage you to read the report and prayerfully consider how you might partner with CPJ on this important issue.
