Scripture Passage: Luke 10:25-37

Opening:

Check-in and share how things are going for you and ways you have seen God at work.

Discussion:

1. If someone asked you to describe or define "eternal life", what would you say?

2. Have you ever used Jesus' method of dealing with difficult questions?

3. Can you think of ways that Jesus might not fit our usual descriptions of what a Christian is?

4. If 'trying to justify himself' is not the right approach, what might be?

5. This is your chance: name all the parts of being a good neighbour that would be challenging.

6.  Tell of a time that someone was a neighbour to you.

7. Can you name the significance of Luke putting the Mary/Martha story right after the neighbouring story?
