Scripture Passage: Luke 15:1-3;11-31

Opening

Have you seen evidence of God's reckless love lately?

Discussion:

1.   What do you make of the title "sinners" for a group of people in the Bible?

2.   With whom do you identify in the parable of the two sons and their father?

3.   Do you know someone with a good prodigal son testimony?  How do you feel about that testimony?

4.   Comment on the statement "the church is full of older brothers."

5. Is there any part of the father's parenting about which you would say "I wouldn't do that."

If you identify as a younger, what is one reckless thing you need to let go of.? 

If you identify as an older, what is one area you could be more compassionate?
