Offering Details for April 2026
OFFERING SCHEDULE FOR APRIL 2026
April 3rd – Good Friday - Resonate Global Mission: Together we help build God’s church. We do this by planting churches and supporting ministry in North America as well as sending missionaries around the globe to share the good news. But sending people is only part of God’s plan for your congregation. Your church partners with Resonate as you join God’s mission in your own neighborhood and around the world. Resonate is here to walk alongside you in preparing missionaries and volunteers, calling and supporting church planters and campus ministers, connecting with ministries overseas, engaging church members and younger generations in mission work, and following the Spirit by discerning new ways to demonstrate and proclaim the gospel.
April 5th – Easter Sunday – Benevolence: Your contribution to Mountainview’s Benevolent Fund provides assistance for those in need in our church family and in our local community. These include basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and schooling. A church and community of our size has many varied needs within it. Please continue to support our ministry of Benevolence.
April 12th – Global Aid Network – Tyler Couperus - Together we are revealing hope by sharing God’s unconditional love and restoring life by demonstrating the gospel through compassionate action to those who are living in poverty, injustice and crisis around the world.
“That is where I come in. I work with GAiN full-time. In order to successfully fulfill our mission as GAiN, we need staff who can lay the groundwork, and do project management to empower staff in the field as well as our local partners. My role is managing our disaster relief programs and our preparedness. I collaborate with our partners worldwide, particularly those in our Disaster Relief offices. My position includes training new volunteers at our DART team training, as well as potential field visits, and ongoing conversation with our project partners about how we can work better together. Thank you for partnering with me in your time, prayers and encouragement, as well as finances so that I can fulfill my kingdom calling. I have been blessed by the church throughout my life; in each church we have celebrated together, mourned together and supported each other. I look forward to growing that community.” Tyler C.
April 19th – Niagara Christian Gleaners is an organization in Smithville that seeks to visibly demonstrate God’s love and grace by working with volunteers to collect, process, and make available surplus agricultural produce; sharing our abundance with those around the world who are in need. Gleaning is a biblical concept in which God instructed farmers to leave a portion of their crops for the poor to gather. Your donations help us to engage locally to impact globally in our ministry of mercy.
April 26th – Diaconal Ministries Canada (DMC) - NewGround: What if every church was known as the heartbeat of its neighbourhood—not for its building, but for the love and generosity of its people? At NewGround, we believe every community holds untapped potential— gifts to be shared, stories to be told, and hope to be nurtured. For over 50 years, NewGround has partnered with churches, ministries, and grassroots initiatives across Canada to uncover that potential. By equipping and walking alongside leaders, we help churches move beyond their walls, build on community strengths, and be part of God’s lasting work of restoration. When you give to NewGround, you empower your sister congregations and support diverse Christian ministries that bring justice, mercy, and hope to communities.
