Join us Sunday morning at 10 am in person or online as we celebrate Pentecost. Pastor Erick Schuringa will present a message entitled “A Gift with a Goal”, focused on the book of Acts chapter 2 verses 1-14.
Pentecost includes the sound of violent wind and tongues of fire. Clearly it was a surprising and powerful event. Then the apostles speak in all kinds of languages. Again amazing. But, as with all of God's miraculous interventions, there was a purpose to what was going on that goes beyond the event itself. That purpose carries on for us today.
LET’S BUILD SOME COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS!

Thrive Faith Formation Tip - Pentecost Sunday - On Pentecost the church celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God is often described and pictured as wind, a dove, or a flame. During a mealtime with loved ones this week, share how these images help you think of the Holy Spirit. What other images help you think of the Holy Spirit? If you have children in your household, ask them how they would picture or draw the Holy Spirit. Brought to you by Thrive: crcna.org/Thrive
